Osceola is a city in Clarke County, Iowa, United States. The population was 4,929 at the 2010 census. It is the county seat of Clarke County.


At the 2010 census there were 4,929 people, 1,974 households, and 1,208 families living in the city. The population density was 760.6 inhabitants per square mile (293.7/km2).

The median age was 36.8 years. 26.1% of residents were under the age of 18; 9.3% were between the ages of 18 and 24; 23.5% were from 25 to 44; 23.8% were from 45 to 64; and 17.3% were 65 or older.
